The President's salary !
First step for Obama? A pay cut
According to the journalist, that would be the strongest signal for his electors and would give him the virtuous stand to have anyone else make his own effort to put the country back on his feet...
Who agrees?
I'm not sure. But I would admire him for doing so if he ever
does.
Answer of Barack Obama in the coming months.
In France last years, the elected President Sarkozy had himself his salary risen by 140% (figures in this article of a French national magazine), making a total 240.000 Euros a year (about 304.000 US$ with today's rate), all expenses already taken in charge by the Public Treasury, while asking all low and middle-paid employees to make an effort for the free-falling economy.

Did you ever suggest Bush not get paid, even though his family is worth hundreds of
millions? Or Cheney?
Good lord. Both Obamas together haven't made as much in their entire lives as these CEO's make in one year.
Why don't you worry about the people who are getting laid off and losing their 401k's and have kids going hungry, while these CEO's are spending an employee's annual salary on ONE plane ride.
Thinking. I would like President Obama to lead the nation back to thinking. That is what we need most of all.
